"A few years ago, I set myself a challenge to write about a subject matter which is very close to my heart, Jamaican Sound Systems. I conceptualized a new world, Sound Clash: Death in the Arena. A dystopian, reimagined style land, called Sound City. In Sound City only Music and Sound systems dictate the lands, where clashes, lyrical and dance battles determine the power structure of this city.

Sound City is divided into four sides, the main two being north and south, elections are run and judged in an annual musical sound clash and dance offs, the winning side controls the city and its riches. So it's the Mighty Eagles (Rich Northside) vs The Thunders (Poor Southside) 

 

Sound Clash is a futuristic Urban musical inspired by the classics such as Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet and iconic musical films like West Side Story, but at its heart is musical murders, (death by music), betrayals, politics, family feuds, intergenerational battles,poisonings and the most amazing street gang style dance routines and face offs.
 

Running through all of the deaths, dancing and betrayal is a beautiful forbidden love story of two innocent young people. Kazzandra, a beautiful young amazing dancer and the North’s hottest Dancehall Queen but she is also the cherished only-child of the North's evil Sound owner MC Don'da Gorgon. He will do anything to win, even kill in the arena. 
 
Kazzandra's in love with Ashley, a shy and troubled teenager from the South. Ashley struggles to accept that his destiny is to be a lyrical MC master and savior of the long suffering Southside; but only if he can challenge and win against the evil Don'da Gorgon’s Eagles in the ensuing SoundClash/Election. 
 
Though, Ashley has a terrible stutter and can hardly string two words together, except for when he is with his forbidden love who is banned from visiting the South. They are torn apart by a musically divided city and loyalty to their families. Don'da Gorgon finds out about their secret , he bans his daughter from seeing her love and now he wants Ashley's head...on the dance floor.
